1. Catching my knuckles on something while reaching for something else and taking the skin off.
2. Blood blisters - I would share what we would shout when I was working in a cabinetry job but it's not at all PC.
3. As above with @TheUnicorn, hot drill bits and I would add jigsaw blades to the equation.
4. @Johnwa The random bleeding thing, I've been doing this for years so probably not just an age thing.
 
l was using the nail gun and shot a nail into a piece of oak and had my hand behind the direction of the nail. it did a 90 degree turn and went in to my thumb. It was the same force you'd use to uncork a bottle of wine to separate me from the wood.
 
Helping a mate with the roof rafters and BL**DY OSB sheets! Don't you just love handling OSB, especially when it's been cut and you forget to put some gloves on. I hate the stuff.
