have finally installed hardwood flooring through all of the house ( purchased through ebay for cheap so I have 4 different kinds of similar flooring :D) , however I now got about 10m2 of nice flooring left but there's only 2-3m2 from each flooring so can't really use it anywhere.. It's a mixture of between all-oak and some engineered boards.
Any ideas what I could do/make with it?

stick at least 3 boards of each under a cupboard for a start so you have some spare.

then what every you fancy, I've got a load of engineered that's being used for everything because it's basically very expensive plywood. :)

A while ago i made a couple of picture frames from oak flooring offcuts/spares. Was my first time making frames, so was good practice, and they turned out nice for gifts to family.

I had a load of solid boards and the list to date consists of: chopping boards, picture frames, trivets, bog roll holder, doll house, pelmets and 2 windowsills. Nice frames s=m!

I over-bought my oak flooring and when I returned a few boxes TNT threw it out the back of their lorry, smashed it up and then pretended the supplier had rejected it. In reality it never went more than 5 miles from my house. Because I booked the delivery through Parcels2Go I couldn't touch them, so I've got a huge stack of oak that I use for stuff.

I've not had much time to do a lot with it yet as kids and house/workshop renovation are a priority, but I made a under-lit stand for some glass jars for a cocktail bar for our wedding last year, I've made a wall mounting panel that has my paper towel dispensor, soap, swarfega and barrier cream dispensors on it and I've been using it to make nice drawer fronts for my workshop drawers.

My philosophy is to keep it for jobs that I won't get sign-off from the boss to buy proper wood for, so I can make nice things for me.
