Just before Xmas I found a very dirty little tenon saw in a charity shop, I'm afraid I couldn't resist its siren call and paid £2.50 for it. Over the weekend I decided to spend some time cleaning and getting it useable. Well after cleaning off the crud on the blade The word PAX was revealed. So after a lot of polishing and cleaning off old paint and dirt from the handle, a most beautiful dovetail saw was brought back to life. 8 inch 20 tpi, brass back Pax saw.

After a bit of a sharpen, it cut like a dream. I'm going back to that shop again !
