Made as a wedding present for my nephew and his bride, (and too help him remember the date in years to come as I always forget)

American White Oak, hand cut dovetails, lettering hand carved then finished in Osmo

Yes I know I should have done a whip but I get so engrossed I forget to take pics

As usual comments and constructive criticism welcome

Definitely go to the front of the class with that one! I'll bet there's a few hours in that.
Would have made an excellent wip too =D> =D> =D>
Regards Rodders

Its beautiful very well done. What are the dimensions and what are they going to keep in it? I wondered because the lidded smaller compartments look purpose-built for something?
Lovely

It's seeing pieces of work like that, that makes me really want to give this whole woodworking thing up, as I'm obviously useless at it.

Absolute work of art - the joints are faultless as is the whole piece.

That's a cherished heirloom piece and will be handed down to their children and to their children etc etc.

Really well done.
