As I have now been put on furlough for several weeks I have a mounting list of projects to get on with. First is a wardrobe for my son.
Biggest consideration was size and getting it up the stairs. I have measured very carefully and have about 20mm to spare otherwise we will have a large downstairs storage cupboard
This is made from ash veneered ply and american walnut frame and handles
I couldnt get double sided ash so I am back to back laminating single sided to make all the panels.
All edges are 40mm X 40mm walnut which I will put the largest radius on to give a totally rounded finish. All joints are dominoes which is new to me but so far very impressed
All panels were sealed before gluing up to stop walnut dust getting into the grain (back panels not yet glued up so some dirty marks to remove)
Will hopefully finish all panels and shelves and get onto the drawers next week ( as well as working out how to put images in the right way round)
Ian
