Wardrobe lighting

I wanted to add lighting to a set of wardrobes I am building. They need to switch on when opening the door. I am having great difficulty trying to source suitable switches. I have been told that if LV lighting is used then the primary side of the transformer should be switched. Is this correct?

Can anyone help?

Its a push to break switch

Yes its best to switch the feed to the transformer.

Try TLCfor the switches the FM142 is what I usually use.

Thanks Dom,I will use Hafele in future, once I have gone through their ridiculous procedure just to get prices!! They do stock a lot of useful bits and pieces though.
