Well today was finally the day to go and pick up my £50 nutool lathe from york. Three hours up the motorway and there she was. Happy with my purchase i carried it out to my van, followed by the ex-owner, carrying "bits and pieces".
On getting it home i've looked at these bits and pieces and am now even happier. There is a technatool supanova chuck with extensions, 13 nearly new chisels, and lots of other bits and pieces that i don't have a clue about yet!
I can't wait to get started tomorrow, i think this could be the best £50 i've ever spent :)

Just a few years before your time Pete the UK had a little altercation with a continental presence, CHAD was apt to appear on a regular basisall over the place highlighting the latest subject of public concern on the shortage front etc. His image was still quite widely displayed and referred to at the time I was introduced to the pleasure of full time schooling.
