Can anyone recommend any veneer suppliers. I have the fancy to have a go at some veneering perhaps a box.

Many thanks
Mick

Well The Veneer Hub, who advertise up the top of this page have some good prices, spoke to them the other day about some construction veneer and they were quick to respond, haven't actually used them yet though. I've got quite a bit from Vale Veneers in the past who advertise on Ebay and also have their own site

ebay isnt a bad bet if you just want enough for a box or two.

Crispins have good prices and an excellent range, if you can lose the courier charge on a project. For a box, it would be too much, but if you are making a piece of furniture, you could probably justify it.

I recently enquired about 120sqm of oak constructional veneer from both, original marquetry, and crispens.

Originals price was over 8k, can't remember exactly as I started to dry heave and had to put the phone down.

Crispins was £1074.

I didn't pay for delivery, as Lawrence crispin comes to watch rugby in Norfolk and we can do the exchange in a tescos car park...

Crispins +2. They are always helpful even if you are only buying 1 sheet. I happened to be in their warehouse when the announcement about 2012 Olympics was made.....there was a huge groan because it meant they would have to leave to make way for the Olympic site, and they hadn't been there long after moving from the old place. Still got the same cheerful service.
