Using other spray cans with earlex hvlp

Hi all

Just wondering if anybody else has used non-earlex spray guns with their earlex hvlp?

Presumably, as long as the hose can be adapted to fit another non-earlex hvlp gun, it should work??

Im asking because the cost of buying different sized needles for my earlex gun seems so uneconomical, unless someone knows a cheap place to buy some.

Don't know if you can use other guns on th earlex. Guessing as you say that if you can and the new gun needs same pressures etc it should would.

Also, I find buying new guns direct from earlex th cheapest as they give me an extra nozzle for free

Thanks. I'm just going to try and see what happens...
if it doesn't work, someone on here will get a good deal on a nearly new spray can
