Good Evening,
I'm looking recommendations on smaller-scale used universals,and where one might find these machines for sale. I've read a great deal about their pros and cons in the past few months, and the biggest issue for most users seems to be the requirement for a new setup when changing from one function to another. However, in the workspace I previously had in Canada I was constantly shuffling machines/equipment around to move from one function to another. I think that having one centrally located machine would very much suit the style of work I've developed. I've had to leave my machinery in storage in Canada, and I have a hard time with the outlay required for the purchase of a new universal, so I would greatly appreciate any insight on the purchase of a used machine.
