Hi all
I'm trying to improve the fence of my Scheppach TS2500ci bench saw and make some zero-clearance inserts for my mitre and bench saws.

In you opinion it is fine to use some 6 mm thick UHMW for the purpose? Axminster has it....

May I use it also for mitre slot bars (for the crosscutting sled)?

I was thinking of using the same stuff on my fences.
Not tried it yet, but can't see why there should be a problem, as long as it's properly supported.
Tho not sure how tough it is, so miter slot bars may be out. Mind you, cause it's so slippery it may balance out.
Suck it and see, I guess. :|
