The Startrite looks like a metal cutting saw and may be too slow for wood.

The Startrite is a 14-s-1 that others certainly use for woodworking. It's been mentioned in previous threads so a search may lead you to others that can tell you what they think of their machines.

The startrite is a very good machine only single speed though
The fence is missing in the pics budget £100 for one of those
I would expect to pay About £400 in the uk for a 14-S-5 ( 5 speed) complete with fence single or 3 phase
