Finally got round to fitting my Triton MOF001 into a router table today, but after using it this afternoon, I noticed a small whining sound, which now persists even after removing the router from the table. At lower speeds it disappears 99%. There's no 'play' at all in the collet or rest of the shaft, it seems to spin perfectly straight, and there's noticeable vibration when in use. Cupping my hand over the motor vent (at the top of the router) reduces the whining sound to virtually nothing.
Was wondering if anyone can think what may have caused this - could it be dust creeping inside the router? Could it indicate anything else?
