Trend credit card diamond stone

Hi all,

Finally getting round to ordering one of these.

Do I need the lapping fluid as recommended by trend ?

There appears to be 2 types of card by Trend....What is the difference?

Toolstation do a 3 card stone for about the same price. Any comments on their stone ?

the trend lapping fluid "must have" is one of the worst bit of charlatan snake oil sales shpiel I've heard for a long time.

Yes, he uses the stuff sold in pound stretcher I believe.

Are they any good? At the risk of starting another sharpening thread (groan) I need a quick way to put an edge on my chisels when I'm away from the shop and I hate sharpening..... No really I do is soul destroying....... Or an I doing it wrong?

Same question from me !!!! Only I only want to keep my router bits sharp !

I bought a Worksharp 3000.....does a nice job on my chisels,
