Tools Insurance

My tools aren't covered by my household insurance because my rented workshop is 9 miles away from home. I don't require business insurance as I'm retired, and only make stuff for my own pleasure. I don't require building insurance as my workshop is rented, but I would like a policy covering my tools. I tried on line, and was besieged by all sorts of offers, none of which meet my requirements.

Can anyone recommend an insurance firm/broker, please?

ask for contents insurance on your rented property, but its going to be steep if there is no security there.

NFU have a policy for tools that covers a shed rather than in a house, they may be willing to use that for you
