Hello,

I have a rudimentary toold cupboard that I am looking to put door onot.
So technically at the moment is an open box.

I have a few bits of 20x44 pse of which I was planning on making the frame for the doors out of.
Then I filling with a couple of sheets of something.

The question is which joint for making the frame, joints can be seen, so was thinking of avoidiby butt joints
. M&T the best option?

Any other suggestions greatly received

TIA.

Half lap, bridle, mitred bridle, lose tenon, mortice and tenon.

Its up to you, but for a rudimentary door loose tenon done on a router table or hand held router, or even a plough plane with ply loose tenons will work.
You will need to form a grove for the panel so a loose tenon would be the easiest.

Pete
