Ok so I dont know if it is resin or sap, but the sticky stuff that oozes out of knots in wood. Just bought a pack of 4 pine planks and one of the middle ones has two knots that oozed sap out. This has run down that plank and also on the plank that was flush with it.
Questions, would I be entitled to take the planks back to the shop? What would be best to remove the sticky trail left on the wood from the sap? I have cut out the section with the knots but don't want to have to bin the rest.
