heres some photos of a recent table for a local bar.

The top is made from driftwood washed up on the beach around 10 years ago at Perrenporth its either utili or meranti. it varies in density so I'd goes its more likely meranti but some of it is really really hard like mahogany. perhaps a mixed load?

The frames are made with 30mm bamboo and wedged with the hard meraniti offcuts. this design is the design I use to shape my wooden surfboards so its quite a nice use for tables and the cad file was the perfect height too. Next is to design some stools to match
