I went to an auction a few days ago and (amongst general office/factory clearance and other lots) they had a huge slab of mahogany 1m wide, 5m long and approx 60mm thick. Beautiful to behold.

Bidding reached £3900 - still under the reserve. Now I know where it came from!!
