I have just got some Sycamore

all sealed with pva glue and put in to black plastic bags

Lovely Goblet Chris. I like the paleness of Sycamore. Must get some.
 
Looks like you have a few busy days ahead of you Chris, at least tackling it green you should preserve its colour and avoid the drying stains. Just the ticket for your thin turnings.
 
thank you for your comments the big captive ring is coming off I nearly dropped it with some Irish whiskey in it :shock:
 
If you are interested in getting thin (as you seem to be) have a look at Mark Hancock's site as I believe a lot of his stuff is done in wet sycamore. Sure he'll correct me if I'm wrong

hi m8 I like Mark Hancock's stuff I had a day with him at christmas
