As a tradesman - i'll get shot for saying this.......... Ryobi.
Not a premium brand by any means - I use milwaukee for my day job.
Around the garden I use Ryobi - we've got a half acre garden and it's well kept so I'm not exactly strimming through deep undergrowth. The Ryobi cordless strimmer performs more than adequately at a good price with the advantage of having a wide range of compatible tools should you need anything else.

I have just ordered a DUR193 from Machine Mart cost 89.97 incl vat and £5.99 post.
And edit.
A couple of days later it arrived I have a reasonably sized garden and it strimmed along the gravel boards around the sheds and so far so good quite happy, its a delight to go and just strim instead of a fight with the now gone aged petrol version
