That looks terrific Martin , What is the size please and what timber did you use.
Is it BB ply ??.

Thanks for showing.

Eugene, it's 16" long and cut from cheap 10mm ply with lots of voids. I was extremely lucky for only one or two tiny holes to show up in the outside edge, but I cut the outside first and was prepared to scrap it. I've got lots of cheap stuff that I keep using and scrapping, but it gives me something to do when I get bored. :)

Martin.

Looks good, thanks for posting.

Down loaded that pattern a few days ago, I thought it would make a good saleable item for either the Cats Protection or the Merlin, Cornwall MS Centre.

Was not sure about the free hand that projects from between his legs, I was going to leave it out, as on the pattern I thought it looked like the proverbial dog with two d***s.

I see you have included it, so does it look different/more in keeping, on the finished item.

Regards.

Chris, the hand with two extended fingers, the so called devils horn sign, is a rock/heavy metal 'salute' first used by Ronnie James Dio, who was probably best known for being the singer with heavy metal groups Rainbow, Black Sabbath, and his own Dio band. So you better include it or your prospective buyers won't be pleased.

Thanks Martin.

Just shows how ignorant I am, regarding rock music.

And to think, I played drums in a group, when I was in my teens.

Take care.

I had a decent drum kit for about 10 years, Chris. I used to play them when I came in from the pub. And I wondered why I was never better than mediocre, and why the neighbours never spoke to me.

Martin.
We used to practice once a week at the parents home of one of the group, never really thought about their neighbours, they must have been very tolerant, as I don’t remember any complaints and it was in a quiet village.

I was drums, because I did not realise it at the time but I was tone deaf, but could keep/beat time, reasonably well, evil looks from the others when I got it wrong.

I am now generally deaf and use an hearing aid in one ear, not through beating drums, but through working in ships and trawler engine rooms, plus other plant rooms. :-s

Take care, from one old rocker to another not so old rocker.
