Hi all. First post! Been taking advice from this forum for a good while and now I have a question that I can't find an answer to and know someone here will be able to help
I'm looking to buy an old startrite saw for my home workshop. Looking at maybe the 275 or any that have a sliding table! In the business shop I use Sedgwick 315 with a sliding table and couldn't do without now.
I'm looking to know is there a micro adjust on the startrite fence? It looks like there is via the bottom knob but I just wanted to make sure before I take the plunge and bid on one when the right one comes up on fleabay! In any pics of startrites I've seen I can't see a rack and pinion or other such mechanism for the micro adjust.
There isn't one on the Sedgwick I use and it can be a real pain!
Thanks, Dave.
