You're spouting hearsay and declaring products as rubbish when you have absolutely no experience of fitting or using them.

Stainless steel is excellent but not without it's weaknesses either. It scratches and can be far from "stainless". It also needs to be looked after if it's going to remain looking good and unlike solid surface materials is very difficult to refurbish whereas corian and mistral are relatively straightforward.

Going back to the original OP post: It is doubtful that the sink is corian type material. There are many resin sinks on the market that definitely don't last. I've fitted some of them from Howdens for example #-o
