can any body help me make new inserts for my spindle, its very old but reliable.this is my first forum

Would probably be easiest to find your local lazer cutting service and have them cut a few inserts from the right thickness plate, easier than getting them turned. You would not be able to have stepped edges so one fits inside another but 3-4 flat rings would be quite simple to make on the Lazer or waterjet cutter.

If you are only using it for DIY then maybe some mDF discs cut with a router circle jig.

What Jason said, and you could also use Tufnol from one of the engineering plastics suppliers (eg Amari plastics) which can be routed very easily.
Aluminium plate is also a possibility.

cheers
