Spear and Jackson

Hi All

Is anybody aware of any websites / information on Spear and Jackson saws? Something listing model types similar to the Disstonian site for Disston saws???

I have a cracking old Spear and Jackson cross cut saw with a handle type that I've never seen before and would love to find out more about it.

Any information would be much appreciated.

I don't think there is such a site. Spear and Jackson have not attracted the attention of the sort of collector who compiles detailed type studies - maybe because they were a UK brand.

Not now of course - a glance at their website is a sad reminder of how little is really attached to a brand name now, when manufacture is largely subcontracted elsewhere.
