I've seen some of these before. Quite a long clip - but good for a coffee break.

Such clever designs - refined into really nice products.

Got me thinking about how we use our space at home. Don't think any could be applied to a shed/workshop although they might enable you to keep hold of your garage for a little longer!

Very interesting and novel, great ideas but I expect that its very very expensive, and if you can afford it you can afford to buy a bigger house or appartment anyway. So is this idea self defeating?

Don't you need an extra cupboard to store your pillows?

This is 'space saving' -

the issue with all of this is that you have to be willing to make your bed every morning, tidy your desk at the end of the day, not overstack a book case etc. etc.

great if you have the time and live alone, I've got a wife and 2 kids, I can't get through the door at the end of the day most of the time.
so unless you're in the army or locked up I can't see this being the end of the bed, the future or the solution to a problem that I have. :)
