I'm making a new kitchen and have used some soft close runners that I got from a sawmill that I got my oak from. He also builds kitchens, and at £10 a pair I was quite pleased with myself. Well anyway I have started putting stuff together and the missus is not happy with the force needed to open the drawers. You can feel the suction from the pistons and I must admit it takes a bit oomph to get a drawer to open.
Any ideas, are soft close adjustable

Soft close, I think it might be just a problem with me being cheap and trying to save money. I figured the guy seems to do pretty high end kitchens then the runners he uses would be half decent.
It feels like your fighting suction when opening
