Slats for window shutters?

Evening all,

Anybody know where you can buy the profile lengths for window shutters? Was thinking of making some, as seems quite simple and can spray finish them too, only issue is getting raw lengths of the shutter profiles?

Any ideas appreciated.

What size are they?

The reason I ask is the timber merchants I use were last winter machining boards down to 6-8mm for horse sawdust - shocking I know!

I could ask if they are doing it yet!!
