Sketchup and mouse wheel

Someone, sometime mentioned that there was a setting somewhere in SU that changes how the model moves when using the middle mouse button. I can't fine the post now, nor can I find the setting in SU. Could some kind soul point me in the right direction please?

Hi Nick. Under Window>Preferences>Compatibility there is a check box for "Inverting" the mouse wheel. Is that what you're looking for?

No that wasn't it - that's about zooming in a Google-Earth-like way. The problem I'm having is with holding the buttondown and moving the whole mouse - the results have become un-intuitive. Maybe aliens have re-wired my brain.

I think you need to go to the Control Panel and look at the Mouse properties. Things shouldn't have changed though fomr before.
