Show piece/ microphone storage

So had no work so brother asked me to make him so thing clean looking for his microphones as he lots of rather expensive recording kit so went into my shop n made this, hand cut dovetails for the body and mitred boxes with ebony splines and a musical twist I used violin tuning pegs for drawer pulls

Next stage is to make a stand out of the left over beech

Yea I'm happy few bit that could have been a bit neater, there's some tare out on one of the drawer runners but annoying but bit of hard wax will cover it up

Starting to finish this piece now just needs a final sanding at 240grit and a coat of wax and a polish with 0000wire wool
