Should we have a machinery section

This came up in the thread about scroll saws and as was quite rightly pointed I caused the thread to go off topic by asking this question there.

So should we have a machinery section, like the hand tool one.

It could even be machinery and power tools.

I think it would be a good thing as treads about safety could be kept to the top and also possibly a thread for places to get spares etc.

It would also be a place for the restoration threads as well.

On the woodworking forum that I help run we have about 8% of topics on machinery in addition to just over a percent on mechanical and electrical topics.
