Just saw this on Gumtree. A Shopsmith lathe, with bandsaw, table saw, and shaper. No connection to it, just thought it was very cheap!

I had one of these in 1978 - bought new.
Was a good hobby tool - quite versatile and the band saw was really good.
Best of all was that you could use as a horizontal borer.
It is a light duty tool most suited to doing occasional hobby work.
Not many have survived in good condition.
In Aus. , you would be lucky to get half the asking price - but if it's what you want ...

There'a Multico on Faceslap Marketplace for £500 without the extras. I sold a Shopsmith some 12 years ago on the bay for £150 - I won it about 20 years before in a competition - it was useful, but like many multi purpose tools it was not particularly good at any one job.
