Joiner_Sim asked on another thread for advice on buying an electric nailer. I have replied but thought the Senco was worthy of a post of it's own. I tried Tacwise first but found them pretty much useless, jamming and refusing to fire for no reason. I wasn't about to go through the same process with other cheap tools so.....
I bit the bullet and bought a Senco cordless GT65RHS http://www.macbuildingproducts.com/product_info.php?products_id=24544 and have been extremely pleased with it. American made, it will fire up to 50mm brad nails and never misses a beat. In 2 years I have never had a jam or had the thing refuse to fire. Battery life is excellent although recharge is about 40 mins but it's never caused me a problem.
It's a large tool and quite heavy but I imagine that brings with it sturdy quality.
The depth of nail head is adjustable, and there is a bump fire option. (You keep the trigger depressed and bump the nose on the work to fire).
It's a tool I look forward to using. Highly recommended 5 stars.
