Seen in the Thames

About 2 foot long, one of maybe 15, outside the Swan Pub at Radcot. He came and hid from the sun under some weeds at the water's edge - wish I knew how to 'tickle' properly...

Sorry to burst your bubble re fish & chips but that is a chub, albeit a very nice one; but possibly the most inedible fish on the planet. Ask Izaak Walton.
That said have had many gorgeous days at Mapledurham Weir on the Thames pulling them out up to nearly 7lbs on light tackle.
