Hi all,

Just wondering if anybody can tell me what bearings I need for a Sedgwick CP planer thicknesser. It is a 3 knife straight block and it is a dark blue and light blue machine (for the age).

Any pointers as where is best to buy them would be great too!

Thanks in advance,

Patrick

I can't help with the CP bearings but they will be a standard bearing, readily available from Simplybearings or Bearingboys online. Pull it apart and the numbers should be engraved on the sides of the old ones.

Take a look at this thread for a full overhaul of an older versison of the mid range MB model. The MB and CP are very similar, only really differing in size.

Post #34 or thereabouts for the beginning of photos of the cutter block and it's bearings.
