I've been accused of being too quiet! Well, that's a refreshing change :lol: .
I am still finding it difficult to get as much time in the workshop as I would like. However, I do pop in occasionally and although some of you may already be aware of my latest 'creation', some won't. It's a sanding station sled designed to repeatedly mill pieces of wood to the same length. Although it won't be terribly useful for large projects, I anticipate it will be very handy for smaller stuff such as sizing box components.
Here's what it looks like:
It works well enough although the slotted rail for the sliding stop-block is a little flimsy. I made it out of 4mm MDF and I suggest that anyone else who plans to make a similar sled should use sturdier material.
