Hi folks

I just took delivery of a big old dominion machine today, think it might be an Elliot but not sure as to which model. Did a few internet searches and came across some posts on here about Dominions. I noticed Sammy Q had posted a few times on dominions and that he too was based in Belfast. I've just registered but think I may have to post a few times before I'm able to send any private messages. Tried to upload photos of the machine but ran into restrictions re photo size, but will try to post them again, many thanks, Arthur

Sam is back, "Thank you" Bob for explaining my non-reply; I was in India doing a stint for charity. Life there is incredibly hard if you are outside the 5% ruling/monied elite and girls are especially discriminated against - even down to food.

I've PM'ed Arthur/Soaring early this morning (while I recover from jet-lag and what feels like several dozen unwanted intestinal floral changes ) As we live in the same city, I'm sure I can help, but I'd also like to see Arthur post photos so that we can all learn from it.
Mine is presently dismantled too and in storage, so who knows? This might turn into a race to get the beasties up and running? I fancy repainting mine in summat different......the great James Young (Belfast one, not the "BBFN" ejit) once quoted a Belfast matron describing her daughter's wedding dress as "nuthin' gawdy...just plain red and yella"...maybe I'll take inspiration from that.
