Safego app?

BBC click this morning were recommending safego as a good free spyware protector.

If I download does it cause a conflict with any other virus protection already installed?

Is it any good?

DW....stop messing about with your computer. Leave it well alone as it will all end in tears. Do NOT mix up all these products.

I have to agree with Roger. Over the years John I've seen all sorts of posts from you about problems with your computers and I'm sure most of these are caused by your tinkering. Just leave the bloody thing alone and use it. Preferably use a well known operating system like XP where the bugs are either removed or are well documented.

Ah well! the computer at last goes to the builder on Wednesday this week for its upgrade to 8gb ram and quad processor plus some big video card plus the dreaded W7. :wink:

No doubt I will be told that my free Micro Trend is rubbish and he will install some other VP which will have some critics no doubt.

Isnt XP due to finish sending out upgrades and support sometime this year?

(safego was highly acclaimed on the BBC click program by the way. )

Yes XP finally becomes free of updates soon. Another plus point for its use!

Yes got to admit, I am still using XP without any updates and without any problems either. Mind you i am old fashioned. :lol:

My PCs are both XP - with updates - and no problems yet.
Microsoft Security Essentials on both.
Even ran Malwarebytes on one for the first time in over a year and it found no issues at all
