I've some Garnica maple faced globulus ply sheeting that I've cnc'd to door panels. They look lovely raw and I really dislike the change from using oil and wax. It yellow and removed the beautiful natural creamy and pink tones. My thought was to use Bona Traffick Raw, a product in familiar with to give a hard wearing raw finish. However after contacting bona about using for this he was warned me about using water based finished on ply with surface laminated of under 1mm as the amount of water taken up by the material can cause it to delaminate. As opposed to solvent based finished which dry much quicker. Does anyone have any experience or other product recommendations?
