Has anyone any experience with the Ryobi RA2500 radial arm saw? I think it has a 10" blade but that is about all I know. I have been offered one and wonder if it worth having a look at.

I did see a Ryobi r.a.s. once, not sure about the model number. It was rather lightly made as I recall, I think pressed steel arm. The motor support was only to one side of motor body. Motor was universal (brushes) type so rather noisy, but it did have a router collet on the 'other' end.

Ivan,

Thanks for that information. I have been able to find info on an 81/4" Ryobi but not a 10". I'm beginning to wonder if the chap who told me about it has the right details.
