Did I do right? Wandering thro' Costco at lunchtime I noticed they were selling off the Ryobi ERT-1150V routers for £23.22 so I couldn't resist. I couldn't see any obvious nasties although the rise/fall is not as smooth as my Elu and Perles machines. Just seemed a good way of getting a 1/2 router into my horizontal table - I use it mainly for morticing and 1/2 cutters come with a bit more length/strength.

Anyway; was it a good deal or shall I take it back? I was even thinking if they're any good I could make up a twin router table for my Gifkin's dovetail jig to save the cutter swapping.

regards

Colin

Hi Colin,

It's about half the price as at tooled-up. According to them it's a 1/4" / 3/8" router, 240v model. Here's their link. Note the product brochure is available there as a pdf too.

Hi Colin

I've got one and, as you say, not as smooth etc but...for the money..worth keeping I think.

Currently sitting in my Ryobi table (part of the cheapie deal) and I don't use it that much now...what with the 'rat in regular use. I'm thinking about a new table with a Triton and then I guess I'd sell the Ryobi combo..but until then, it's there ready to use.

Roger
