Runners for fitted wardrobes

Hi,

I have been asked if I can make and instal some fitted sliding doors to form a wardrobe. I have no problem in making the solid timber/glass doors, but I do have a problem finding top and bottom runners that will take the weight of three doors that I think will weigh around 30 - 40kgs per door (minimum).

Can anyone recommend a UK company that supplies these runners?

try Hendersons, I have used them to supply track for for my wood storage shed, it has 3 sliding frame panel doors covering an area 8ft high by 14 ft wide, they run on a henderson twin track, they have an extensive range of track systems to cover all aspects,

As you are in Manchester there's also Hettich in Salford who now have a product showroom. Stanley also make a sliding door product which is widely available
