Router fine adjustment - after market?

I am currently using a workzone router, not the best I know but surprisingly good value for money.
My main complaint is the stiffness of the springs. It makes fine adjustment hard as it tends to shoot past. In an attempt to help control this, does anyone know of any after market fine depth adjustment guide that will fit this router? I know these can be purchased but I'm unsure as to which would fit my router.

It wouldn't be difficult or expensive to make your own fine adjuster. Would you consider that?

Yes I would, that's a good idea! Not sure how I'd do it as im sure mine is a round bar with a flat down the front.
