DeWalt DW615 Router Fine Height Adjustment

I have just purchased the [ 2023 March ] the DeWalt DE6956 "Fine Height Adjuster" for, amongst others, this router .
I was completely baffled as to how it was to be fitted . I could find nothing on the web hence this article .
In deperation I phoned the supplier [D&M Tools, Twickenham to pose the question .
After an hour or so Stuart came back with the answer . Here goes :
1. Remove the depth stop .
2. Slide the DE6956 into the hole .
Seat the brass ferrule into the hole and lock with the locking screw supplied with the DW615 and presumably still fitted .
I found I had to ease the hole with an 8mm bit .
3. Screw down onto one of the three depth stop screws on the turret as required .

I have not tried it out yet but it looks like it will do the job .
