Ripple Sycamore?

Is there anywhere I can buy this in timber form? I can find veneer-a-plenty but haven't come across it in boards...

Doesn't need to be thick (10mm final thickness) and I don't need it yet either but I'm currently unemployed and I've nothing to do so I'm getting on with some research

We've got some 30mm rippled at Whitmore's, its one of those things thats best brought with the eyes though so viewing/own selection is recommended.

Re the south, from a mag article I read a while back I got the impression that Yandles has lots of stock air drying. I've never been but loads here have so someone should know

Try David Dyke Luthiers Supplies - he has an awsome collection of wood and is good on the phone. He's near Eastbourne. Or, Timberline in Tonbridge - also has an excellent suply of woods including lemon wood.

For ripple sycamore you could try Scottish Hardwoods, I know he stocks some. Small outfit, just one guy I think, but he's friendly and you get good service.
