Hi I am planning on build a router table and I have a NVR switch from a cheap rubbish router table, but it only has a 50cm plug flex. I can buy a longer flex from ebay but how do I know what amp it should be?

Thanks
Mark

It depends upon the power (wattage) of your router but 13amp should be more than adequate. Buy flex from ebay? Don't you (or someone you know) have an old flex around? Off an old heater, washing machine etc. If not, go to your local electrical store or electrician.

My router is 2000w. I actually don't have any spare cables because I had a clear out a couple months ago. I will try a local store.
