Hi all

I had my kitchen worktop fitted just under two years ago (Laminate) and just recently started to notice that it is very slightly starting to swell along the mitre line. I'm hoping there is a way to reseal it to stop it getting any worse?

I've read around that once this happens it's time for a new worktop but it really is hardly noticeable at this point.

Regards

Darren

Don't think you can do anything about the swelling that's happened but running some epoxy into the join should reseal it. The chipboard below the top would need to be bone dry first so need to not wet that area for some time before epoxy application. Pigments can be added to epoxy to colour it to your worktop colour.
