Hi all, will be getting a 9" x 3" length of redwood later this week, and i will be resawing it to the sizes i need, is there anything i should be aware of regarding grain direction to reduce the risk of cupping and twisting, i will cut into approx lengths before doing the ripping, resawn sizes will 50mm x 50mm, 73mm(approx depends on initial thickness) x 22mm, and 50mm x 22mm, the longest length will be approx 1m( 50mm x 50mm), all lengths will be oversize to allow for final trimming, i will be using the TS for most of the cutting but i would like to give the BS a good workout as some of the pieces will only be around 500mm in length, any hints tips and pitfalls welcome, cheers,
