requesting PC help again please

When I open most folders these days (W7pro) their alphabetical orientation has reversed also at times I find that my folders are now at the bottom of the list with the odds and so ds starting first, and then things go back to how they should be.

Any advice please? (I am allergic to apples btw)

I think I understand you correctly, forgive me if I don't. You might try clicking the header which is the space alongside the work "Name" at the top of the list. This re-orders the list on that column. Click it again to change the sequence to the other way round. You can click any column like this to reorder on that column. I have some directories/folders sequenced on descending date so the newest document comes to the top.
